Languages academic wins Polish Science Foundation prize

School of Language Studies academic, Professor Anna Wierzbicka, has been awarded the Polish Science Foundation Prize in the area of humanities and social sciences for her work in semantics (“For creating the theory of the Natural Semantic Metalanguage”).

The award will be presented a formal ceremony in the Royal Palace in Warsaw on December 8th and will be presented by the President of Poland.
